by Onayiga azeez SSA Media  The Chairman of the Articulated Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has initiated a groundbreaking effort to engage and empower former chairmen of the union. This, he kick started with a significant gesture of support by reaching out to his predecessors, offering them a sense of belonging within the union. The historic meeting, held at the Union's state secretariat in Abeokuta on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, saw the attendance of Alhaji Azeez Olawale, known as "WILLYKAY",  a former chairman of the union, who represented other past chairmen. The event which starts by 4 pm is slated to hold at ABIOLA's residence along Ode road, Iperu, and will coincide with the monthly meeting of the Great Ambassadors Club of Iperu. Motorcycle Operators Union Debunks Fake Ticket Claims In Lagos

The Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN) has categorically denied allegations that the tickets it sells to commercial motorcycle operators in Lagos are counterfeit. In a statement issued in Abuja, National President Alhaji Rasak Olusola Sotayo described the claims as misleading and aimed at tarnishing the union's reputation. Sotayo assured that MOUN would never engage in illegal activities, adding that the Lagos government recognises that the union is duly registered under the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.    He also stressed that the union is committed to maintaining transparency and integrity. Sotayo clarified that the tickets are genuine, purchased directly from the national office in Abuja, and verified by the National Treasurer.
