In an effort to empower its members amid prevailing economic challenges, the leadership of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has initiated a loan scheme, providing each branch chairman with a one-million-naira loan. During an expanded state executive meeting held at the Union's state secretariat in Car Wash, Adatan, Abeokuta, the Union's publicity secretary, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku), revealed that the loan aims to support members in diversifying their income sources by engaging in alternative businesses. Sokoya emphasized that AMORAN has established a partnership with a commercial bank to offer low-interest rate loans, which will be promptly disbursed to beneficiaries upon completion of necessary documentation. -Tope OYEKAN The Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board, will on wednesday, 6th March, 2024, hosts religious leaders at a meeting scheduled to hold at the Akesan Iperu Club 1954 Hall. The interactive discourse is part of the board's proposed action plans for the year, aimed at engaging with all stakeholders to jointly advance the cause of education, and using it as a tool to eradicate poverty, and creating a peaceful, progressive, and prosperous community. The conversation which is in two segments shall feature both the Christian and Islamic Clerics. The board shall be engaging with the Christian Clerics by 9.30am, while the Islamic Clerics shall have theirs at 1pm. Chief host of the discourse is the Chairman, Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board, Mofopefoluwa JOSEPH, FRM.
