5TH EDITION OF THE ALTAR OF PRAISE HOLDS TODAY AT ST JAMES' ANGLICAN CHURCH, IPERU

-Tope OYEKAN The 5th edition of the Altar of Praise, a bi- annual gospel musical concert  will be held today, Sunday, 30th June, 2024, at the St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu Remo. Powered by the Angelic Voices, the music gathering which has Olayinka BELLO, also known as Hephzibah, as the host, starts by 2 pm, and shall feature praise, worship, thanksgiving, and music ministration from renowned gospel music ministers. Slated to perform at the Altar of Praise concert, with the theme - "I will sing unto the Lord",  are Venerable Gboyega BABAYEJU; Mr. & Mrs. SODEHINDE (His Worship Band); Lady Evangelist Ope AFOLABI (New Age); and Pastor Samuel ADEBAYO. Also on the list are Adewale EFUWAPE (Welimah Sax); and Ambassador Bola AMUSA (Arabaribiti). Romo Chairman, Sotayo Distributes Palliatives To Ogun Residents

The Ogun State Chairman of Riders and Owners of Motorcycle Organization (ROMO), Alhaji Rasak Olusola Sotayo a.k.a  Solebo has  distributed palliative during the flagoff of his welfare programme to residents of Ogun State . The palliatives, it was gathered, will be distributed across the nooks and crannies of the State.  The kind gesture, according to him, was to cushion the hardship currently experienced by people in the country. The Chairman in a statement through his Special Assistant On Media and Publicity, Femi Akinlawon, therefore uses the medium to urge other Union leaders to join hands in helping people of the state. 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF ANGLICAN DIOCESE OF REMO BEGINS ON SUNDAY, APRIL 7, 2024

-Tope OYEKAN The activities marking the 40th anniversary  of the creation of the Anglican Diocese of Remo, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) starts on Sunday, 7th April, 2024, with an anniversary rally holding at Sagamu by 3pm on the day. Among the activities lined up for the  week-long event with the theme, " For This God Is Our God For Ever And Ever" - Psalm 48:14 (KJV), are the Anniversary Press Conference, holding on Monday, 8th April, 2024, at the Bishop's Court, Ewusi Street, Makun, Sagamu, by 10am.  This shall be addressed by the Bishop, Remo Anglican Diocese, and Archbishop of the Lagos Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, The Most Rev. Dr. Michael Olusina FAPE. GOSPEL PROPAGATION: SOCIETY OF FELLOWS OF REMO ANGLICAN DIOCESE SEEKS NEW MEMBERS

The Society of Fellows of the Remo Diocese (Anglican Communion) has called on members of the  communion in Iperu to join and become a member of the society. Making this call in Iperu on Sunday was the President of The Society, Engr. Mota ODUMUSI, when he led members to its monthly meeting at the town. Speaking during a thanksgiving service held at St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu, ODUMUSI urged eligible members of the St. James' Anglican Church, and other churches within the arch-deaconries in Iperu, to enrol as members of the society and join in propagating the gospel of God, and contributing to the overall development of the diocese. According to the President, St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu, being the first church in the entire Remo and Ijebu lands, should always maintain a leading role in all aspects. He specifically appealed to the younger ones in the 25-40 age bracket to endeavour to join the society, as the older ones are willi
