PRESS STATEMENT For Immediate Release February 22, 2025 RE: OTUNBA NURUDEEN AINA ALOWONLE RESIGNED VOLUNTARILY – AMORAN SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT The leadership of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Ogun State Chapter, wishes to set the record straight regarding the recent claim by the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, suggesting that he did not resign but merely took a leave of absence. We categorically state that Otunba Alowonle voluntarily resigned from his position as Chairman of AMORAN in August 2024 to pursue his lifelong political ambition. His resignation letter, duly signed and addressed to the State Executive Council, was officially received, read and acknowledged by the leadership of the union.
