This was captured in a 96-page document produced by the board, christened - " First Chronicles of Birth and Activities" which was presented to the Iperu Development Association at the association's first quarterly meeting, held on Sunday, 24th March, 2024, at the IDA Plaza, Iperu Remo. Making the presentation, the Chairman, Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board, Mofopefoluwa JOSEPH, FRM, highlighted the board's activities as contained in the document. It is a state or condition in which a person or community lacks the financial resources and essentials for a minimum standard of living. Poverty-stricken people and families might go without proper housing, clean water, healthy food and medical attention. Poverty is both an individual concern and a broader social problem. The Egbe Degbuyi Remo has given a boost to education in Remoland, as it sponsors the registration of some students in the forthcoming West African Examinations Council's Senior School Certificate Examination, and also donates exercise books to primary schools in the zone. The foremost socio-cultural age-grade group in Remoland, is embarking on this gesture, as part of its core mandate of giving back to the society through its various social intervention initiatives, and in particular, in its effort at giving a boost to education, while also lending a supportive hand to the needy and the less-privileged in its immediate environment. - Tope OYEKAN The Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board has presented its account of stewardship covering its five weeks of existence, following its inauguration on the 24th of November, 2023, by the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness , Alayeluwa, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V). This account of stewardship was released on 1st January, 2024, by the Chairman of the board, Mofopefoluwa JOSEPH, FRM. In the document tagged - "2023 Annual Management Reports and Accounts", the Chairman highlighted the board's statement of income and expenditure for the period, ending 31st December, 2023. He also released a five year projected estimates of income and expenditure for the years 2024-2028. Abiodun Doles Out N55m In ScholarshipTo Indigent Students In Memory Of Late Son

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has instituted a Scholarship Award scheme for 550 indigent students in Remo Federal Constituency of the state in honour of his late son, Gbemiga Abiodun, who died six years ago. The scholarships cover pupils in primary and secondary schools as well as those in vocational and tertiary institutions.  The scholarship was spread across all schools in its coverage area. Speaking at the launch of the Gbemiga Abiodun Education Scholarship Award held at Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area, Prince Abiodun said the scheme will ensure that brilliant students and those whose parents could not afford to educate them, have access to quality education. According to him, the number of beneficiaries will increase to 1000 in the next 12 months, which will be the minimum at any given time. Tuition fees hike: NANS plans nationwide protest

The National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) has called on President Bola Tinubu to, as a matter of urgency, prevail on the management of various federal universities in the country to jettison their plans to increase school fees and levies being paid by the students. The students’ body warned that should this call be ignored and schools hike their fees and want to enforce implementation, the students would embark on nationwide protest and remain on the streets till their demand is met.
