AMORAN Inaugurates Additional State Executives to Strengthen Leadership, Member Welfare

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), under the leadership of its Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, has inaugurated additional State Executives in a bid to bolster its administrative structure and enhance member representation. PRESS STATEMENT For Immediate Release February 22, 2025 RE: OTUNBA NURUDEEN AINA ALOWONLE RESIGNED VOLUNTARILY – AMORAN SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT The leadership of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Ogun State Chapter, wishes to set the record straight regarding the recent claim by the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, suggesting that he did not resign but merely took a leave of absence. We categorically state that Otunba Alowonle voluntarily resigned from his position as Chairman of AMORAN in August 2024 to pursue his lifelong political ambition. His resignation letter, duly signed and addressed to the State Executive Council, was officially received, read and acknowledged by the leadership of the union. AMORAN Mourns The Passing of Alaperu, Pays Glowing Tribute To His Legacy

The Alaperu’s passing has continued to generate an outpouring of grief from various quarters, with leaders across different sectors paying tribute to his impactful reign.  The leadership of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has also expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Alaperu of Iperu-Remo, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu-Basibo, describing his demise as a great loss to Ogun State and the traditional institution.
