INSTALLATION OF YEYE OSENI TOYIN BILIKI AS YEYEMESHO OF IMEJI, IPERU, HOLDS TOMORROW SATURDAY, 7TH SEPTEMBER, 2024

Yeye OSENI Toyin Biliki, Convener of the Dapo Abiodun Apex Alliance Sisters will be installed as the Yeyemesho of Imeji, Iperu Remo, tomorrow, Saturday, 7th September, 2024.

The installation will be performed by the Onimeji of Imeji, Iperu Remo, His Royal Highness, Oba Babatunde Kayode OLAYEBO OREMULE-SODA (Gbadewolu I), at his palace, off Ibu Road, Iperu Remo, by 11 am.
Yeye OSENI, according to the letter of conferment personally signed by the royal father, and dated 10th August, 2024, is honoured in recognition of her promotion and preservation of culture and tradition, exquisite fashion sense, grassroot mobilisation and community development efforts, and most importantly, her respect and regard for the traditional institution of Obaship.
Shortly after the installation proceedings, guests will be entertained at a reception slated to hold at the Christ Apostolic Grammar School Hall, Iperu Remo.

The Chairman of the Day is Otunba Taofeek  SOKOYA (Danku), Chairman, Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association AMORAN), Ogun State Branch; Father of the Day is Alhaji Samsudeen APELOGUN (All Rounder), National President of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), while the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Ogun State, Hon. Adijat OLADAPO-ADELEYE is the Mother of the Day.
Royal Fathers of the Day are the Olu of Itori, His Royal Highness, Oba Abdulfatai Akorede AKAMO (Agbodere I); and the Osobia of Makun-Omi Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Oba Kazeem Adeshina SALAMI (Ilufemiloba I); while the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ogun State, Dr. Toyin TAIWO; the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. (Mrs ) Funmi EFUWAPE; Aremo Alhaji Rafiu ELEGUSHI; and Barr. Kemi OSUDE-LANIYAN; are Special Guests of Honour.

Born at Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, on the 29th May, I963, Yeye OSENI TOYIN BILIKI, fondly called Yeye by her admirers, started her formal education at the Sacred Heart Primary School, Inalende, Ibadan, and proceeded to the United High School, Apapa, Lagos in the year 1976, and passed out in 1982 after the West African School Certificate examinations.

In 1985, as a result of her quest for further acquisition of knowledge, and in order to equip herself with the needed entrepreneurial skills, Yeye OSENI enrolled for a certificate course in Catering.
An entrepreneur and a business tycoon, She is the CEO, Super T Catering and Rentals, and Managing Director, OTB Heritage Company, a dealer in automobiles, and supplier of granite, cement and stationery.
She is also into general merchandising.

A women rights advocate, who believes in and advocates for women's liberation and emancipation, Yeye OSENI is a member of the National Council for Women Society (NWCS), and was the former Public Relations Officer of the Sagamu Chapter of the society for eight years.

Yeye OSENI TOYIN BILIKI is a notable politician with wide networks of contact, both within and outside Ogun State.
She is the Convener of the Dapo Abiodun Apex Alliance Sisters, a group of women which cuts across the twenty local government areas of Ogun State.
This group galvanizes support for programmes and policies of the Prince Dapo ABIODUN-led administration, and by extension, the ruling party - All Progressives Congress.
She is the Director of Contact and Mobilization of the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group (AATSG), Ogun State Chapter; and Convener of the Yayi Movement Support Group..
She was a chieftain of the defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD), and the Secretary of its women's wing, Sagamu Local Government
She contested for the post of Councillor, Ward 1, Sagamu Local Government, under the National Republican Convention (NRC); and was the Public Relations Officer of the Democratic Party of Nigeria (DPN), Ward 2, Sagamu Local Government.

Yeye OSENI a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and Leader in Ward 4 (Iperu II) of Ikenne Local Government, is a staunch supporter, loyal associate, and a reliable ally of the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, CON.

Happily married with children, Yeye OSENI TOYIN BILIKI is the Yeye Isese Agbaye, a honour bestowed on her by the Worldwide Isese Agbaye Community (WIAC).

Her hobbies include watching movies and football. Yeye is a football lover, and a fan of the Arsenal Football Club of England.

The Chicago State University (CSU) has responded to the request by former vice president Atiku Abubakar in line with an Illinois, United States (U.S.) court order. In its response, the CSU insisted that it does not keep copies of diploma certificates issued to students. It also confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the school in 1979. The CSU said Tinubu graduated in 1979 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. It, however, said that after diligent search it was able to find some but not give the names because of privacy concerns. It further said that it could not find that of Tinubu which Atiku claimed was presented by the president to INEC. The university said it found some diploma certificates with the same font as the one being queried by Atiku.

AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo. Also in attendance were the union’s deputy chairman, Mr. Kazeem Lawal, along with other members of the state executive council.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. Otunba Alowonle extended his gratitude to the executive members for their unwavering support during his tenure.
