A young, vibrant and dynamic gentleman from Sagamu local government, Hon. Ismail Arikewuyo was declared winner of the Labour Party Chairmanship contest Friday 20th September, 2024 at the party's secretariat in Abeokuta Ogun State capital.
This however, was the outcome of a great job, resilience and determination. Even though, many never believed in him, the fact that he persisted the end surely justified the means.
Let us support and vote Hon. Ismail Arikewuyo as the next Executive Chairman, Sagamu local government.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. Otunba Alowonle extended his gratitude to the executive members for their unwavering support during his tenure.
