ACOMORAN President Lauds Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for E-Bike Initiative

The National President of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Owners, Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Alhaji Shamsideen Adebayo Apelogun, popularly known as "Allrounder," has heaped praises on Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for introducing the electric bike (e-bike) initiative in the state.
Alhaji Apelogun expressed his approval in a statement released on Monday, describing the e-bike initiative as a progressive step towards modernizing transportation and improving the livelihood of commercial motorcycle operators in the State. Apelogun highlighted the environmental and economic benefits of the initiative, noting that the adoption of e-bikes would significantly reduce the cost of operation for riders and contribute to a noiseless environment.

"We are excited about this innovative approach by Governor Abiodun. The introduction of electric bikes is a game-changer for our members, as it will help reduce their operational costs and ensure a healthier environment for everyone," Alhaji Apelogun said.

He further commended the governor for his consistent efforts to support the transportation sector in Ogun State, emphasizing that the e-bike initiative aligns with global trends in sustainable transportation. Alhaji Apelogun called on the ACOMORAN leadership and its members in Ogun state to embrace the initiative, assuring them that the association would work closely with the state government to ensure a smooth transition to this new mode of transportation.

Governor Abiodun's e-bike initiative is part of his administration's broader agenda to enhance transportation infrastructure and promote environmental sustainability in Ogun State. The initiative, which has garnered widespread support, aims to provide commercial motorcyclists with an affordable, efficient and eco-friendly alternative to traditional petrol-powered motorcycles.

The initiative marks another milestone in Governor Abiodun's administration, which has been focused on driving economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents of Ogun State.
