Nationwide protest: Sheath your swords, ROMO Boss Solebo appeals to youths.

The State Chairman Romo Ogun State, Dr. Sotayo Olusola Rasak Aka SHOLEBO, has appealed to Nigerian youths to sheath their plans to stage nationwide  protests. The ROMO leader,  while addressing newsmen at the Union Secretariat in Abeokuta, Ogun state on Friday assured the youths of significant change as soon as possible. Sotayo stated that Tinubu’s administration is working assiduously to change the current economic narrative.  Sotayo said "The Government understands your frustration and disappointment with the current state of affairs in our beloved country. The struggles we face as a nation are undeniable, and it's natural to want to take action. However, I strongly advise against embarking on protests. This initiative calls on young, passionate individuals from the region to participate in an essay contest designed to foster critical thinking and engage in discussions about significant community issues. Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun said the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) by his colleagues is an attestation of his sterling leadership qualities as the chairman of the bloc. Prince Abiodun, in a congratulatory message to the President on Sunday, said his re-election reflects the unwavering trust and confidence reposed in his leadership by the sub-region. The  campaign tagged "War Against Drug Abuse", according to a release from the board's Chairman, Mofopefoluwa JOSEPH, FRM, is a follow up to the International Day Against Drug Abuse celebrated globally on the 26th of June, 2024.
