On behalf of the state  executives and indeed, the entire members of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State, I wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, on the joyous occasion of his birthday.

Your Excellency Sir, your visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of Ogun State have been a source of inspiration and pride for all of us. Your tireless efforts in improving infrastructure, enhancing security and fostering an environment conducive to economic growth have significantly uplifted the lives of our members and the entire citizenry of Ogun State.

We deeply appreciate our performing Governor's continuous support for the transportation sector, particularly the motorcycle riders and owners who play a vital role in the state's mobility and economy. There is no doubt that your administration's policies have created a more structured and regulated environment for our operations, ensuring safety and efficiency for both riders and passengers.
As you celebrate your birthday today, we pray for your good health, long life and the strength to continue steering Ogun State towards greater heights. May your tenure be marked by even more remarkable achievements and may you continue to enjoy the trust and support of the people you serve so diligently.

CSU confirms Tinubu graduated from school in 1979

The Chicago State University (CSU) has responded to the request by former vice president Atiku Abubakar in line with an Illinois, United States (U.S.) court order. In its response, the CSU insisted that it does not keep copies of diploma certificates issued to students. It also confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the school in 1979. The CSU said Tinubu graduated in 1979 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. It, however, said that after diligent search it was able to find some but not give the names because of privacy concerns. It further said that it could not find that of Tinubu which Atiku claimed was presented by the president to INEC. The university said it found some diploma certificates with the same font as the one being queried by Atiku.

AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo. Also in attendance were the union’s deputy chairman, Mr. Kazeem Lawal, along with other members of the state executive council.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. Otunba Alowonle extended his gratitude to the executive members for their unwavering support during his tenure. Recognizing the importance of maintaining strong leadership, the state executives swiftly deliberated on the succession. The consensus was clear: Otunba Taofeek Sokoya
