Late in 2022, the MAPOLY Beauty Queen was kidnapped along Iperu Road, raped and murdered in cold blood.

On April 19, 2024, Prof Yinka Olomojobi was assassinated whilst resisting been kidnapped at Iperu Junction. The question is who's next????

The rate of criminality such as kidnapping, robbery, killing for rituals is becoming worrisome and alarming in Remo metropolis.

*We need to tell the government under the leadership of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun to beef up security in the state, afterall, it's his responsibility as a Governor and Chief Security Officer of the State.*

RIDSCo, RemoGDF can't be left out though, it's high time the government of the day take full responsibility while RIDSCo and RemoGDF as NGOs compliment the government's effort on security matters.

Our local vigilante and other security agencies should be well equipped with the necessary equipment to combat crimes in our communities across Remoland.

For the public, our contribution is vital, let's relay necessary and pivotal information to the security agencies as timely information is key at this crucial period.

Also, the influx of the Fulanis and the likes must be put to check to avoid imminent crisis and war within Remoland.

The Chicago State University (CSU) has responded to the request by former vice president Atiku Abubakar in line with an Illinois, United States (U.S.) court order. In its response, the CSU insisted that it does not keep copies of diploma certificates issued to students. It also confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the school in 1979. The CSU said Tinubu graduated in 1979 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. It, however, said that after diligent search it was able to find some but not give the names because of privacy concerns. It further said that it could not find that of Tinubu which Atiku claimed was presented by the president to INEC. The university said it found some diploma certificates with the same font as the one being queried by Atiku.

AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo. Also in attendance were the union’s deputy chairman, Mr. Kazeem Lawal, along with other members of the state executive council.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. Otunba Alowonle extended his gratitude to the executive members for their unwavering support during his tenure.
