Ogun NYCN Gets New Directorate Members, Urges Diligence & Delivery

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter, proudly inaugurated new Directorates on the 20th of April, 2024, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium. This significant event marks a commitment to fostering leadership and inclusive governance within the state.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of appointed members from across the Gateway State, highlighting the collective dedication to advancing youth empowerment and development.

Under the visionary leadership of Oloye Kola Shoremi, the Directorates, comprising diverse portfolios, represent a strategic initiative aligned with the Progressive Pentagons agenda. Oloye Kola Shoremi emphasized the pivotal role of each appointee in driving positive change within their respective portfolios. He assured unwavering support from the State Executive, underscoring the importance of diligent service delivery.

A key highlight of the inauguration was the interactive breakout sessions, facilitating networking among members and fostering collaboration. These sessions provided a platform for brainstorming and strategizing to fulfill the outlined Terms of Reference. Following fruitful discussions, each directorate presented an overview of planned activities and projects, demonstrating a commitment to tangible outcomes.

The ceremony culminated in the presentation of letters of appointment to all appointees by the State Chairman, Oloye Kola Shoremi, reaffirming the council's commitment to transparency and meritocracy.
