AMORAN Inaugurates Ogun East, Ogun Central Branch Chairmen

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) today inaugurated its Chairmen in Ogun East and Ogun Central respectively.
The inauguration that witnessed a large turnout of Members of the union at the union's state secretariat in Car Wash, Adatan, Abeokuta, the Union's publicity secretary, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya popularly known as Danku encouraged all members of the union  to be of good conduct, worthy Ambassador wherever they find themselves within and outside Ogun State.
Thereafter, Danku indubitably stated that AMORAN has also established a partnership with a commercial bank to offer low-interest rate loans, which will be promptly disbursed to beneficiaries upon completion of necessary documentation. He urged the newly inaugurated branch Chairmen to utilize the loan judiciously to achieve its intended purpose.
We must not but appreciate our proactive and indefatigable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR for his support over the years and his laudable projects across Ogun State.
Speaking with Journalists, the Union under the ebullient leadership of Otunba Alowonle Aina congratulated all the newly inaugurated branch Chairmen and admonished them all to be up and well doing in their various locations

The Chicago State University (CSU) has responded to the request by former vice president Atiku Abubakar in line with an Illinois, United States (U.S.) court order. In its response, the CSU insisted that it does not keep copies of diploma certificates issued to students. It also confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the school in 1979. The CSU said Tinubu graduated in 1979 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. It, however, said that after diligent search it was able to find some but not give the names because of privacy concerns. It further said that it could not find that of Tinubu which Atiku claimed was presented by the president to INEC. The university said it found some diploma certificates with the same font as the one being queried by Atiku.

AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo. Also in attendance were the union’s deputy chairman, Mr. Kazeem Lawal, along with other members of the state executive council.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. Otunba Alowonle extended his gratitude to the executive members for their unwavering support during his tenure.
