The Ogun State Agro-Cargo International Airport will begin scheduled and non-scheduled flights in the next few weeks; Governor  Dapo Abiodun made this known on Tuesday.  Abiodun, was speaking at the 13th Gateway International Trade Fair breakfast meeting with chief executive officers, captains of industry, entrepreneurs, investors and stakeholders alike, held at the Mitros Residences, GRA, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Special Adviser on Media to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Hon. Kayode Akinmade has said that the damage on the newly constructed road at Ojumele-Ajegunle in Makun-Sagamu, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State is the result of human error and not project deficiency.  Akinmade, in a press statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Monday, explained that the collector drainage for the storm water in the area was silted up due to indiscriminate refuse disposal, causing the water to  overflow during the downpour on Sunday. He added that in the same vein, a car wash owner ignorantly built a cover slab on the drain without adequate engineering guidance and advice from experts, thus impeding the flow of water into the drain during the heavy rain. His appointment was contained in a letter dated 1st April, 2024, and signed by the Assistant General Secretary of the Association, Barr. Wasiu ONAWOLE. SODIPO, a Social Welfare Professional and Community Development Practitioner is the Director of Community and Social Development at Ikenne Local Government, Ogun State. Also appointed to serve on the committee alongside the Chairman, are Mrs. Iyabo JOLAOSO-AJAYI as Secretary, and Otunba Adebayo SALAMI as Member.
