OJUDE OBA IPERU 2024: ENILARI-SOLARIN COMMENDS DONORS, CALLS FOR MORE SUPPORT

The Chairman, Fund-raising Sub-committee, and Director, Contact and Mobilization (Diaspora), of the Ojude Oba Iperu Planning Committee, Prince Babatunde ENILARI-SOLARIN, has commended donors who have contributed towards the 2024 Ojude Oba celebration. Prince SOLARIN gave the commendation while speaking during the meeting of the committee held recently. He commended members of the committee for their moral and financial contributions towards ensuring a well-organized and successfully-delivered event. He particularly appreciated a member who sponsors the guest artiste for the day, the fuji sensation, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, and another who has donated a sum of #1m (one million naira). He also used the opportunity to call on all Iperu indigenes, both at home and in the diaspora, to support and contribute to the laudable idea of the resuscitation of the age-long heritage of Iperu Akesanland. OJUDE OBA IPERU REMO RECEIVES A BOOST, AS OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT PLEDGES COOPERATION AND SUPPORT

The Ojude Oba Iperu Remo has received a boost as Ogun State Government has pledged to collaborate with the organizers in ensuring a successful staging of the event which comes up later in the year. Giving the assurance is the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Ogun State, Honourable Olusesan Fagbayi, while receiving the Ojude Oba Iperu Remo Planning Committee during a visit to his Oke-mosan, Abeokuta office, on Wednesday. The committee led by its Chairman, Otunba Taiwo OYEBANJO, has gone to present to the Commissioner, a formal request for recognition, support and collaboration of the Ogun State Government, towards a successful relaunch, reintroduction, and sustenance of the newly-repackaged Ojude Oba Iperu Remo, an age-long heritage of the town.
