- OPENS APPLICATION FOR UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS/GRANTS

The second edition of the sensitization talk organized by the Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board, shall hold at the Akesan Iperu Club 1954 Hall, Iperu, on Wednesday, 24th January, 2024, commencing from 11am.
The talk, which has as its theme: "Education is a Key to Success", is organized by the board to reawaken the minds of all stakeholders in Iperu, on the challenges confronting education in the town, and working towards using education as a tool to combating poverty among its citizenry.
Keynote Speaker is Mr. Tutu BURAIMO, FCA, mni, former Managing Director, CarnaudMetal Box Toyo Glass PLC., while Guest Speaker is Professor Abayomi ARIGBABU, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Ogun State.
The Lead Royal Father of the Day is the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V), FIEX, FICMC.
Also expected at the event is the Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE, Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government,
The Chairman, Iperu Development Association, Chief Babajide OYETI, shall also be in attendance, while Mofopefoluwa JOSEPH, FRM, Chairman, Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board is the Chief Host.
The board in fulfillment of one of its cardinal objectives has rolled out application for the undergraduate scholarship and grants for students of Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education and Entrepreneurial Studies.
Interested applicants are expected to pick the form at the Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board's office at the IDA Plaza, Atenda, Iperu Remo, or alternatively, they can contact the Secretary on 07032318947.
The scholarship shall be awarded to qualified students on the basis of academic promise and achievement, or on their status being as indigent indigenes; while the grants shall be given to indigent indigenes who have financial challenges.
