AMORAN COMMENDS GOVERNOR ABIODUN ON THE INTRODUCTION OF OGUN E BIKES

The Executive Chairman of the Ogun State Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (Ogun Amoran), Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, has commended the Governor of the state, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON., on the introduction of the Ogun E Bike, a progressive step towards a greener future for the state. The Amoran chairman, described this great idea by the Ogun state government, as a laudable concept, environmentally and masses friendly initiative.

According to the Ogun Amoran Boss, who expressed his sincere disposition, solidarity and gratitude to the official introduction of Electric bikes. In his words, "On behalf of the entire leaders, stakeholders and members of Ogun Amoran, let me use this medium to highly appreciate and commend our ever-performing and articulate Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for this laudable initiative of the Ogun E Bike also known as DA E Bike.  PDA is indeed an intelligent and highly intellectual administrator. The introduction of the E Bikes is a first of its kind in the history of the state and no doubt this will definitely be a masses friendly initiative. Kudos to His Excellency"
Otunba Alowonle, also affirmed that the introduction of the Ogun E Bikes will add values to the commercial motorcycle business, encourage less noise pollution and improve healthy environment in the state.

The Chicago State University (CSU) has responded to the request by former vice president Atiku Abubakar in line with an Illinois, United States (U.S.) court order. In its response, the CSU insisted that it does not keep copies of diploma certificates issued to students. It also confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the school in 1979. The CSU said Tinubu graduated in 1979 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. It, however, said that after diligent search it was able to find some but not give the names because of privacy concerns. It further said that it could not find that of Tinubu which Atiku claimed was presented by the president to INEC. The university said it found some diploma certificates with the same font as the one being queried by Atiku.

AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo. Also in attendance were the union’s deputy chairman, Mr. Kazeem Lawal, along with other members of the state executive council.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. Otunba Alowonle extended his gratitude to the executive members for their unwavering support during his tenure.
