We are using this medium to call the urgent attention of the general public to the activities of that can create a breach public peace in Simawa town in Sagamu Local Government. 

Yesterday, some hoodlums led by one dreaded and wanted cultist from Sagamu town called Aaliyah, who led a team of other cult boys and in company of some criminal land grabbers like Deji Gisanrin, Sunday Ogunpein, Yinka Ogunpein, Halelluyah Pasaka and Olalekan Sadiq, invaded  Simawa with guns and dangerous weapons. 
But for quick response from the officers of Simawa police station, who were able to curtail their criminal activities and excesses. In the process, guns, cartridges and injurious weapons were recovered from them. In addition two motorcycles called Okada, was also recovered and one of the notorious cultist was arrested. 
Unfortunately, the most annoying thing was that some police officers alleged to have come from Abuja, later stormed the Simawa police station in the evening and in company of the same notorious criminal group led by Aaliyah, to release the guy arrested and all their weapons was also alleged to have been returned. 
This has been the usual trademark of this so called policemen from Abuja. Each time a criminal or any land grabber is arrested in Simawa, they will storm the town in commando style and will compel or use superiority influence over the Divisional officers to release any arrested criminal that have their vested interest. This is exactly what they intend to do in the case of the suspect in the picture attached to this alert. But our follow up information confirmed that the guy in the picture post, has been transferred to the Sagamu Area Command. 
Very bad to say that all this criminals are now moving freely within the town now and still threatening the people. This is sending a very negative signal and impression to the people of the town. It seems that Simawa town is now a peaceful den for lots of criminal elements, cultists and miscreants, especially those who escaped out of Sagamu town, in purpose to avert or avoid the ongoing raiding and nabbing by the combined forces of  police and other security agencies. 
Simawa people are seriously appealing to the Government of Ogun State and the Commissioner of Police, to please look into this matter urgently. 

Please save Simawa town from this criminal invaders and notorious cultists.

The Chicago State University (CSU) has responded to the request by former vice president Atiku Abubakar in line with an Illinois, United States (U.S.) court order. In its response, the CSU insisted that it does not keep copies of diploma certificates issued to students. It also confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the school in 1979. The CSU said Tinubu graduated in 1979 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. It, however, said that after diligent search it was able to find some but not give the names because of privacy concerns. It further said that it could not find that of Tinubu which Atiku claimed was presented by the president to INEC. AMORAN Inaugurates Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as New State Chairman In Ogun

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State has officially inaugurated Otunba Taofeek Sokoya as the new chairman of the union. The inauguration ceremony took place today at the union's state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The leadership transition duly follows the resignation of the former chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. In response, the union's executive members unanimously elected Otunba Sokoya as the new chairman, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the organization. The event was marked by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Ogun State Commissioner for Transport, Engr. Gbenga Dairo. Also in attendance were the union’s deputy chairman, Mr. Kazeem Lawal, along with other members of the state executive council.

Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Takes Helm as AMORAN Chairman Following Unanimous Vote

In what appears as transition of leadership, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (a.k.a Danku) has been unanimously voted as the new Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN). This follows the resignation of Otunba Aina Nurudeen Alowonle, who stepped down to pursue his 'lifelong ambition'.  During an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the state executives of AMORAN addressed the resignation letter submitted by Otunba Alowonle. In his letter, the outgoing chairman expressed his intent to resign due to his decision to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in the upcoming Ogun State local government elections. Otunba Alowonle extended his gratitude to the executive members for their unwavering support during his tenure.
